Cookie Policy
To make Momio smoother for you to use, we place some cookies on your device. Cookies are used to store and receive identifiers and other information on computers, phones and other devices. Other technologies, including data we store on your device or browser, identifiers associated with your device, and other software are used for similar purposes. In this Cookie Policy, we refer to all of these technologies as "cookies."
Strictly necessary cookies
Momio's Terms of Use describe the following about the use of strictly necessary cookies, which you accepted when you created your Momio account. Momio uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work correctly.
These cookies are used to:
-
Verify your account (authenticate) and recognise when you're logged in, so we can give you the right experience and features.
-
Save your last visited page, drafted content and similar information for usability (for example, to help Momio reload faster).
-
Cache server data for performance (for example, caching avatar items so Momio starts faster).
Child-friendly YouTube videos can be viewed and shared on Momio. When you choose to watch a YouTube video, YouTube may place some cookies on your device. These cookies are not used for advertising or marketing purposes by Momio ApS, and you can manage them in your device and browser settings.
Third-party cookies
You can earn diamonds and sapphires by watching advertisement videos on Momio. Before you can watch these third-party ads, you must accept cookies from Momio-approved advertising partners, who use cookies to serve video ads to you. A third-party cookie is a cookie placed on your device or browser by one of Momio ApS's trusted video advertising partners.
They are mainly used for statistics and for showing video advertisements. Typical uses for these cookies:
-
Prevent you from seeing the same advertisement repeatedly.
-
Determine whether you have reached the daily limit of advertisements.
-
Measure the overall effectiveness of video advertising campaigns, using anonymised data.
Unlike many other internet services, Momio does not use advertising cookies to target ads based on your interests. Momio does not sell or otherwise share any personally identifiable information about you with third parties.
If Momio wishes to use third-party cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your specific consent, and you will be able to decline. Once you give consent, it applies to your whole Momio account, regardless of which device you use.
For more detailed information, see our cookie overview, which lists our video partners and some of the third-party cookies used on Momio. Please note that the names of cookies, pixels and other technologies may change over time.
Removing cookies
In your Momio settings, you can change the cookie permissions you've given. To find them: log in to Momio, go to your profile, click the wheel icon, choose "Account," then scroll to "Cookies." Here you can choose whether to allow third-party cookies, and you can change this setting at any time.
If you no longer accept the use of strictly necessary cookies, you must delete your Momio account. You can also manage and remove cookies already placed on your device through your device and browser settings.
